a thank you note

Here is a young couple arriving for their reception at the PEM. It was a dicey wedding job that we pulled off on the eve of the arrival of hurricane Irene. The bride's mom just sent me the kindest thank you note:
"In spite of the rain, the carriage ride was a highlight of the day! You and your husband looked smashing in your rain gear and top hats. The ride down Chestnut street will always be a wonderful memory for Emily and Nick. Your service was over and above. Hiring Friendship Carriage was one of the best decisions we made".
