We had a great Memorial Day weekend, covering all the territory that I want to handle nowadays- On Friday and Saturday we did reserved rides in Rockport. I have found that sitting next to the park in front of the Baptist church on the corner of High Street is a good central place to meet my reservation guests. A little further up the hill, in front of the Inn on Cove Hill, at the corner of Atlantic Avenue, is another good spot. Betsy, the innkeeper, has been very welcoming, with lots of water and apples offered to Curley.

Sunday we did a few lantern lit rides in Salem, after spending the afternoon at the community garden, where Curley mows the field while we plant and weed.

Life feels balanced, and it is reassuring to earn some money towards our garage rent and our board at Seaview farm.
